Queries regarding Special Educational Needs (SEN) should be addressed to The Inclusion Managers/SENCO's Mrs Rajiah and Mrs Rix and should be made by telephone or emailed to senco@knebworth.herts.sch.uk

Concerns regarding safeguarding should be addressed to the Designated Safeguarding Lead, either in person at the school office or through the school switchboard.

For quick information exchanges only, parents/guardians may also take the opportunity to talk to a member of staff in the playground each morning (all staff wear an identity badge) or their child's teacher at the start or end of the school day.

Primary admissions are arranged through Hertfordshire County Council. Nursery admissions by arrangement with the school.

Personal information provided to the school by such communications will be treated under our arrangements for GDPR.

Parking

Knebworth Primary and Nursery School is located in the heart of Knebworth, at the junction of London Road and Swangleys Lane. The entrances are on Swangleys Lane, and the pupils' entrance is separate from both the staff and visitors entrance.

Car parking on site is limited, and all spaces are allocated. There are two visitor spaces which are heavily used. Visitors arriving by car are asked to park safely on Swangleys Lane, taking care not to obstruct through traffic or residents' drives.

Mail and Deliveries

Mail and deliveries should be addressed to a named recipient at Knebworth Primary and Nursery School, Swangleys Lane, Knebworth, SG3 6AA, Herts . Please note that there is no street number.

Deliveries should be made to Reception, which is accessed through the visitor entrance.

From the A1

Exit the A1 at J7 (A602) towards Stevenage.  At the "Roaring Meg" roundabout turn right onto Monkswood Way (passing the football ground to your left) and then onto London Road, following the B197 into Knebworth. Swangleys Lane is on your left, immediately after the church. Please be aware that the main street of Knebworth can be congested.
